In-house or Outsource Advertising Jobs Are Plentiful

Advertising jobs are highly coveted so when you enter this market, expect the competition to be fierce. College graduates with specific and related experience, an above average level of creativity, and strong communication and computer skills will most certainly have the best job opportunities.

High earnings can be expected but so will substantial travel and long hours, including evenings and weekends. In the overall advertising and marketing business, each sector feeds the other in a well predicted pattern and this makes it easy to departmentalize a marketing operation.

It also makes natural demarcations to outsource pieces of the ad puzzle. Some are natural separations such as media jobs related to the disseminating the final product. Most marketing firms stop short of owning their own media outlets like radio and television stations or being their own ISP, but they do employ specialists in their media jobs talent pool who interface with these outlets.

Other media jobs that could keep you in-house with your talents are printing, CD and DVD authoring and preparing “on air” ready commercial content. It all depends on the size of the Marketing firm and the kinds of direct services they offer their clients.

An advertising agency can consist of hundreds of people, or it can be one man using outsourcing and a phone book full of media jobs and advertising jobs candidates who can assemble en mass for just long enough to complete a project.
